Adjustable Kettlebell Beta Testers Wanted

Sunday, January 24th, 2010

Kettlebell Lifters, Coach Fedorenko is looking for 9 “Beta Testers” for his new Adjustable Pro-Grade Kettlebellâ„¢. The first 9 who pre-order this kettlebell and agree to give feedback on it will hold and be the first to receive one (limit 1 per shipping address) in less than a month from now. After this, they will be made available in mass for the public, but that could take a few months more. If you are interested in trying this out ASAP Click the Buy Now to Beta Test

AdjustableYou are looking at the prototype that has taken almost a year to get right. Of course anyone can take a Kettlebell and drill a hole in it and call it adjustable. Coach Fedorenko refused to let that happen to one of his designs. The goal here was to create a safe alternative with everything included to truly be able to call it “adjustable” out of the box. No one wants to go buy dirty lead shot or try to shove pennies in a hole and have to take those in and out to make it adjustable. It’s just not practical, affordable or safe. This unit adjusts from a tad over 8kg up to 40kg by selecting lead plates coated in rubber and torquing them down on a single bolt with a nut. There is a tool provided that allows easy turning of the nut for a tight fit. The tool also fits two holes on the bottom of the kettlebell that allow you to really tighten down the handle.

Here’s what the Champ has to say about it:

“I have mixed feelings about the Adjustable Kettlebell. My gut tells me it’s just not right if you are seriously into lifting, and since I’m a kettlebell enthusiast, I would never trade my Professional Kettlebellsâ„¢ for this alternative. But, I have two specific reasons for allowing this to happen to my design. The first is some Military people said they had the option of only bringing a kettlebell or two on tour with them and they asked me what size should they bring. It’s not an easy question for a Coach. What are the goals? How new to Kettlebells are you? What exercises will you use? If someone is new to kettlebells, they should begin light and learn proper technique. They should also be able to warm up. And what about progression? Gains come very quickly for those following my advice, so if even just a few months in the field, they would likely outgrow a kettlebell or two, and then what? This solves their problem. The second acceptable reason for using an adjustable kettlebell is for the personal trainer or user that just doesn’t have the space or needs to transport the full set often. So there you have it, the first ProGrade Adjustable Kettlebellâ„¢.” -VFAdjustable

*The cost of the first Adjustable Prograde Kettlebellâ„¢ is $225 + shipping. The complete unit with included tool allows you to adjust anywhere an 8kg ( a tad over due to the single bold and nut), 12kg, 16kg, 20kg, 24kg, 28kg, 32kg, 36kg and 40kg. The color is Camouflage, but may vary from picture and unit to unit. The handle is stripped and sanded. A unique feature of the Adjustable Pro-Grade is without bolting the two halves together, you can have a 4kg “Trainer” handle that still gives the feel of a Fedorenko Professional Kettlebell . So, considering that, it’s 10 Kettlebells in one adjustable unit!

NOTICE: This product contains lead, a substance that should not be touched or ingested. Although the lead plate is covered in rubber and has a metal ring to place over the bolt to secure it, the rubber could become chipped or damaged. Please handle with care. There are no warrantees with this product.
